At 3:00 pm promptly (director’s emphasis,) “A Block” commences. There are lots of options in the afternoon, sometimes as many as a dozen varied activities. A trip to Big Eddy, a hike up Mt. Piermont, a tournament, or one of the 100 games is often an “A Block” activity. (Click the links to trips, tournaments, and 100 games to learn more!) Low-key options such as terrarium building, ceramics, or tie-dye are also always available. Boys have total free choice on selecting “A-Block” activities and often are influenced by the weather, their friends, and even their favorite counselors. The only rule is that each boy must do something. Lazing around the cabin is not an option!
